JobDuties of Service Technician:

Perform routine,preventative maintenance and repairs on oil-injected and oil-free aircompressors.Troubleshoot andperform diagnostics on malfunctioning compressors, determine possible causesfor malfunctions, and perform repairs as suggested by diagnostics andassessment.Prior to andfollowing preventative maintenance and repairs, test and document the properoperating parameters of the compressor.Provide basic toolsto accomplish job along with normal maintenance of tools and equipment.Display the abilityto absorb a higher level of learning including VSD’s, refrigeration, industrialnetworks, remote monitoring, and air audits.Provide a high levelof customer service, responding to customer needs and working to satisfycustomer expectations.Develop rapport withcustomers through effective communication, interpersonal skills, andprofessionalism.Display the abilityto manage time accordingly. Must have the ability to work and solve problemsindependently.Promote and practiceproper safety procedures and the correct use of personal protective equipmentat all times.Qualifications of Service Technician:

Experience –1-2 years of technical experience maintaining and repairing various types ofmechanical and electrical equipment. Strong mechanical and electricalskills with demonstrated expertise in the maintenance, overhaul, and repair ofa wide variety of industrial equipment, including electrical, hydraulics and/or pneumatic. Experience in HVAC a plus.Education– High School diploma or equivalent required withtechnical training in electrical, hydraulics, and/or pneumatic preferred. Mustbe knowledgeable of HVAC.Excellent customerservice and communications skills (oral and written).Extensive travel tocustomer locations, including out-of-town and overnight travel.Available for arotating schedule of on-call work on evenings, weekends and holidays.
